Natalie Preston has always dreamed of owning her own business. In 2009 that dream came to fruition with the inception of Le Cheap, C’est Clothing Company (LCCC).

natalie (3)LCCC offers affordable clothing with genuine service to create an exceptional customer experience.  Through hosted shopping parties and online sales, LCCC is continuing to grow everyday by expanding its number of independent sales reps.

Growing up in the UK Preston has always had an eye for trends and fashion.  Natalie takes pride in sourcing everyday essentials along with trendy seasonal pieces for women from all walks of life.

“I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit”, says Preston, so it only seemed natural for Natalie to become the owner and operator of her very own home based business.

As a stay at home mom of 2 and with her husband working on the road, Natalie strived to find the balance between having her own start up company and spending time with her family.

During the past 5 years Le Cheap, C’est Chic Clothing Company has evolved organically to meet the needs of the community and surrounding areas. LCCC is now a consistent household name and closet staple for many women in Penticton and across the province.

Given the overwhelming support that Le Cheap, C’est Chic has received from the community there was no question that Preston would use her business as a platform to give back whenever possible. In 2013 LCCC raised over $4000 through fundraising events and high profile fashion shows. Proceeds from these events have benefited SOWINS, SOVAS and local families in need.

“We are proud to service our customers in whatever way is most convenient for them”, explains Preston. The focus of the business is to bring friends together through home shopping parties.  “This is our niche”, Natalie exclaims enthusiastically.  In 2014 Le Cheap, C’est Chic will continue to build its brand and expand its number of independent sales reps thus enabling LCCC to bring the same great concept to women across BC and Alberta.

With such a positive attitude and great dedication it is no surprise that Le Cheap, C’est Chic Clothing Company has been nominated for best new home based business in 2013 for the Penticton Chamber business excellence awards. LCCC was also nominated in 2010 for best new business and has been honored as Okanagan’s best kept secret by okanagan4kids.

In her spare time, Preston also manages her youngest sons’ initiation hockey team and is the tournament chair for their upcoming fun day tournament. “The tournament will be bringing in 6 outside teams and their families to spend the weekend in Penticton and enjoy our beautiful city”, shares Natalie.

Natalie also enjoys being the Fundraising coordinator for Uplands Elementary School.  In 2014 the focus will be to raise money for Uplands Elementary School by purchasing everyday necessities through local businesses that donate partial proceeds back to the school.

“It’s a busy busy time”, says Preston, “but when you’re doing what you love, it doesn’t seem like work.”

JCI Penticton had the opportunity to catch up with Natalie and ask her few questions.

JCI Penticton:
