JCI Penticton has created partnerships in the community, to put on events for the past 75 years. These events raised money for local community groups or charities, awareness for projects happening in Penticton and the South Okanagan, as well as recognizing outstanding community leaders.
Young Workers Speed Networking – 2014 to 2016
Each year JCI Penticton hosts an annual speed networking event; a great opportunity to network with Penticton’s young business professionals! This event is like speed-dating, but for professionals looking to expand their network.

JCI Penticton is proud to partner with the Oktoberfest Society on this fun annual event for the third year. Lederhosen or not, its guaranteed you will enjoy a fabulous night of a mouth-watering food, wonderful entertainment and great beverages!

Murder Mystery Fundraiser – 2013 to 2016
Each Spring JCI Penticton hosts a Murder Mystery Fundraiser to bring together our community for a fun interactive evening of costumes and acting and to raise money for a variety of charities and organizations in our community. The following organizations in our community have benefited from this awesome event:
2016 – “Murder in Sin City” a fundraiser for the Penticton Okanagan Boys and Girls Club
2015 – “Lights, Camera, Murder!” a fundraiser for The Shatford Learning Kitchen
2013 – “Murder at the Juice Joint” a fundraiser for the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation

75th Gala – November 2015
In 2015, JCI Penticton celebrated our 75th year as a community organization! Held at the Penticton Ramada, Jaycees from all over joined JCI Penticton to celebrate the lasting legacy of Junior Chamber in the city of Penticton!
Penticton’s Top 40 Under 40 – 2014 to 2015
JCI Penticton partnered with the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce for this 40 week campaign which ran from September 2013 to July 2014. The campaign recognized outstanding community leaders who have contributed to Penticton and demonstrated achievements in; Community Service, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Success.
The event wrapped up with a Celebration Party at Poplar Grove Winery and was a great an opportunity for all recipients to mix and mingle with each other, Chamber members, JCI members, Penticton Dignitaries and more.

Jacked & Juiced: Custom Truck and Car Show – August 2014
JCI Penticton heated up Skaha Beach on the August long weekend in 2014, with Jacked and Juiced: Custom Truck and Car Show sponsored by Boyd Autobody and Glass. Custom trucks and cars were on display in the parking lot of Skaha Lake park, while a two day beverage garden was hosted on the beach. Par-T-Perfect also hosted a KidzCorner and on Sunday morning before the show began, a pancake breakfast was held! Funds raised through this event were dontated to the JCI Summer Day Camps for Kids.
Mr Muscle Miss Bikini – 1983 to 2013
JCI Penticton hosted the Okanagan’s Largest Beach Beverage Garden on Skaha Beach in efforts to raise funds for the JCI Summer Day Camps for Kids & other community projects for over thirty years. This event was held on August long weekend each year. Not only did this event engage the local community, but many tourists looked forward to it each year.
